Bethany is the TIMSS Science coordinator. She assists in the development of the TIMSS Science, TIMSS Advanced Physics, and eTIMSS Science assessments, and helps in coordinating and authoring the TIMSS and TIMSS Advanced publications. She also contributes to organizing international meetings to train country representatives in TIMSS Science methods and procedures. Prior to joining the TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center in 2013, Bethany gained experience in international comparative research as a research assistant at the College Board. Bethany holds degrees in mathematics and psychology from Syracuse University, and is a PhD student in the Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation (ERME) program at Boston College’s Lynch School of Education.
