Bethany Fishbein

Research Specialist, Instrument Development and Reporting

Bethany assists in the development of the context questionnaires and helps coordinate and author publications, including technical reports and international results reports for the TIMSS and PIRLS studies. She also assisted in the early stages of developing the eTIMSS assessments. Prior to joining the TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center in 2013, Bethany gained experience in international comparative research as a research assistant at the College Board and completed two years of graduate coursework in the social sciences. Bethany holds degrees in mathematics and psychology from Syracuse University, and is a PhD candidate in the Measurement, Evaluation, Assessment, and Statistics (MESA) program at Boston College’s Lynch School of Education.
